CSCS Card

CSCS cards are part of the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme and are designed to evidence the qualifications that the holder has achieved. The CSCS covers over 200 different occupations within the construction industry, including management, technical, trade and supervisory roles. This makes it the largest card scheme in the industry, and many clients and contractors insist that their workers carry their CSCS cards with them at all times.

The CSCS card is valid for either 3 or 5 years, and there are a range of cards available that represent your level of skill and qualifications, all of which are colour-coded for easy identification. Some CSCS cards are renewable and some are non-renewable, depending on which card you carry.

The CSCS card proves that you have the knowledge, skills and competence to work on certain sites and shows that you have passed relevant Health and Safety tests and have safety awareness.
