Basic four day Plastering Courses
The four day Intensive Plastering Course is designed to give you a good understanding of plastering whether you are a total beginner or have some previous plastering experience. You will be taken though the different stages of plastering, we will explain and demonstrate all the different tools and materials and teach you the fundamentals in plastering.
By the end of the course you will have a good understanding of proper plastering techniques and you will have a good base knowledge to progress on to a new career path or as a DIY enthusiast.
During this 4 day Intensive Plastering Course you will learn:
- Health and Safety
- Tools, Materials and Application
- Learning the correct way to mix various plasters
- Applying Backing Plaster
- Applying Sand Cement Stucco Rendering
- General Plaster Repair
- Fixings and Beadings
- Different Types of Covings and Beadings
- Dot and Dab walls with plasterboards
- Boarding, Taping and Jointing
- Skimming Walls and ceilings
- Floor Screeding.
Safety
This is a hands-on, practical course. It is therefore essential you bring your own safety Boots, (steel capped if possible).
We also recommended you bring suitable clothing
