- make training sessions interesting, stimulating and relevant.
Duration
The duration of the course is 3 days. We usually aim to start the course at 9.00am each day and therefore taking into account time for refreshment and lunch breaks, the course usually finishes around 4.30pm each day. However, there will be additional work in the evenings preparing for the next day. The course will be a mix of syndicate exercises, work based teaching and presenting to the group.
Venue
Courses may be held at your premises. We appreciate that it is sometimes difficult to release staff on training courses, therefore we offer the flexibility to hold the course either on three consecutive days or one day a week spread over three weeks. We also regularly run "open" courses at centralised locations.
Assessment
Candidates are assessed on their design and delivery of a short training session which they are required to deliver to other members of the group.
Cost
The cost of the course is from £375.00 + VAT per person fully inclusive of course materials, examination fees and a certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. The public course dates also include morning coffee, a light lunch, and afternoon tea each day.
