Operator Training (Novice & Experienced Operator)
Objective
To train the basic skill requirements, correctional instruction and associated job safety knowledge of basic Skid Steer loader operation to Novice operators (with no working experience). This is to the nationally recognised levels of skill, ability & safety as laid down by the approved governing bodies and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 relating to section 2 of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
Duration
2 to 3 Days (Novice) 1 Day (Experienced) Dependant On Candidate Numbers and Background
Candidates can have varied experience, and practical background skills. Over a period of time ETS have devised recognised and accredited timetables and correctional instruction techniques to cater for these different situations, whilst maintaining the training requirements as laid down by the accrediting bodies, and HSE.

- steering procedures
- Hydraulic use and controls
- Shovel loading

Additional Information
The above course is applicable to all common makes of loader
This course culminates with both practical and theoretical examinations and candidates must pass these in order to gain certification
On site training will include specific job training as per nationally recognised standards. |
